The Decentralisation and Localism Bill will be published on Monday 13th December. The House of Commons order paper lists out the contents as making provisions concerning:
- the functions and procedures of local authorities and certain other public bodies
- the functions of the Local Government Ombudsman
- the recovery of financial sanctions imposed by the European Court of Justice on the United Kingdom from local and public authorities
- local government finance
- town and country planning, community infrastructure levy and the authorisation of nationally significant infrastructure projects
- social and other housing
- regeneration in London
